Learning a new language using traditional methods is not the most efficient or effective. The lessons you learn don't always apply to real world situations. In 2016 alone, 8.3 trillion text messages were sent all around the world, so we thought, why not teach people when they need it most - while they are chatting.
We found a way to use all these messages to teach languages. We developed a new Duolingo mode that compiles data from your conversations and finds your weaknesses. Then, it shows grammar, vocabulary, and style advice in real time.
